ClassLH™ is a linear-hybrid Class H amplifier, combining a switching tracking power supply with a linear amplifier. The power supply produces enough voltage to follow the envelope of the audio signal so the linear amplifier stage can perform efficient final amplification.
ClassLH™ enables high–power, low-cost amplifier design with:
Audera’s ClassLH™ amplifier − a hybrid-linear push-pull drive amplifier, powered by highly efficient tracking power supply rails − is a perfect fit for applications where cost is a consideration, but system performance must not be compromised.
ClassLH™ enables high–power, low-cost amplifier design with:
- Considerably less heat dissipation and smaller heat sinks than Class AB
- High overall system efficiency approaching Class D
- Low system cost compared to Class AB or Class D
- Low distortion and zero EMI from the amplifier stage
- Low idle power consumption
- Wide dynamic range
- Simple, versatile and compact size
- Impedance headroom
- 0.5 Watt standby requirement
